The Sacrament of Holy Communion

As a part of the body of Christ and through our trust in our Savior, we humbly confess our need for God’s grace. We believe in the real presence of Christ’s body and blood in, with, and under the bread and wine in the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Christ offers us gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation when we receive Communion.

At Trinity we celebrate the Lord's Supper on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month and some special occasions.  If you desire to receive Holy Communion, please speak to an Elder or Pastor Ricard.

If you need assistance or would like to receive Communion in your pew, please speak to an usher or Elder before worship.

We offer both the common cup and individual communion cups.  Gluten free wafers are available, speak to an Elder before worship to ensure availability.

Infants and children are welcome to the Lord's Table for a pastoral blessing.  If you are not a member of an associated synod and have not communed here before, we cheerfully invite you to come to the altar and cross your arms so Pastor may offer you a blessing.  After worship, we pray and joyfully encourage you to speak with Pastor if you have any questions.  From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely thank you for respecting our biblical and historic practice.
